BITS
The mighty saints took on the Whalers at Houghton Park, which on all accounts, proved to be a tough day at the office. The Whalers were energetic, fit and full of runners that continued to flood their forward line, but that wouldn't deter BITS from putting on another display of sheer brilliance in the mid-field.
His dash and clearance from the centre was simply outstanding and a sight for many to see, however affected by concussion it would seem, BITS managed to aid the opposition on a number of occasions with several unexpected forward thrusts into their forward line resulting in scores. The Saints were a little perplexed at this repeat tactic by BITS, but it was clear that this was one way of getting more run out of his already exhausted backline.
BITS's dominance in the midfield, and his ability to kick the ball forward for the opposition was nothing less than brilliant. With the Saints manning an agile and star studded senior backline full of pace (Scarey and Chief), BITS knew the Whalers needed all the help they could muster to kick goals and grab the lead.
Your a bloody legend BITS. Just remember next time which end we are kicking too.
